Femtaur Monday #13!
Every Monday I will do a quick post, spotlighting a special Femtaur. They could be from Lore, friendly Forumers, Tweetaurs, or even from my very own character list :3
Today, I will be highlighting:
In general, the Tauren merely tolerate the Forsaken as part of their faction. Tauren do not easily trust them. But, Bena looks at things differently. From the dialogue upon turning in the quest, [The Platinum Discs] (now removed from the game):
“When I first saw the undead, I wept, for I could not imagine their horror and loneliness. The Earth Mother spoke to me then; she sang in my blood. And she told me, “Save them.”
This quote touches me deeply. The Tauren culture is one of honor, balance, and compassion. Bena sees the Forsaken, not as a thorn in the side of the Horde, but as victims in need of care. In a world (of Warcraft) where we are constantly at odds with some opposing force, it’s quite refreshing to see such compassion.
It really makes me question myself, in this world:
What are some things I merely tolerate?
What can I do to go beyond tolerance and move toward acceptance?
