Femtaur Monday #8!

Every Monday I will do a quick post, spotlighting a special Femtaur.  They could be from Lore, friendly Forumers, Tweetaurs, or even from my very own character list :3

The Khadgar Femtaur Family

Today I will be highlighting:

Aponi Brightmane

Today’s featured Femtaur was suggested by Kamalia last week.  Check out her lovely blog at “Kamalia et alia” or in the blogroll to the right.

Aponi is a Femtaur Sunwalker trainer on The Hunter Rise in Thunder Bluff (not The Elder Rise like Wowpedia would have you believe…tsk tsk).  Aponi is a Native American name meaning “Butterfly“.

Aponi Brightmane the Warrior was sent to Icecrown to aid in the attack on the Lich King.  She was sadly injured and sent back to Thunder Bluff.  Like all honorable Femtaur, she was deeply saddened when she was no longer able to aid in the attack.  During this downtime, Aponi and Tahu Sagewind spent their time together discussing the other eye of the Earthmother, An’she, and how it was completely disregarded.  This set into motion the order of the Sunwalkers.  Aponi and Tahu then became the very first Sunwalkers.

At level 24 Seal of Command is replaced with Seal of Truth.
Aponi makes her own rules.

These days, she spends her time in the Sunwalker Lodge, chatting with her fellow Sunwalkers.  Go and visit her next time you’re in the neighborhood!

I didn’t know that her name actually meant something — and what a pretty meaning! So appropriate for a Sunwalker, too — they are changing the Tauren into something new and beautiful :D
